Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior IT Analyst, SAP:
 

  • Analyze and define system processes, investigate and document business and technical opportunities, and identify and resolve system issues

  • Lead project initiatives for both technical and functional IT and business solutions within the Merchandising space

  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders to ensure understanding of issues and solutions

  • Assist in design sessions in prototyping new systems for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flows

  • Provide second level support role in resolving business partner incidents and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

  • This role is initially a 6-month contract with potential for conversion to full-time, depending on location and performance
     

Required Skills for Senior IT Analyst, SAP:
 

  • 6-8 years of experience in an IT Business and/or Systems Analyst position or related business capacity

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP modules, SQL, and JDA

  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology

  • Strong knowledge of merchandising business processes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field is preferred

  • Certifications in Microsoft SQL, Certified Business Analyst Practitioner (CBAP), and/or ITIL Foundation are preferred
